Accommodation and Travel in Byron Bay

Accommodation

Please contact Robert if you require guidance on accommodation in Byron Bay.

The workshop will be held at Temple Byron. Please refer to their website for location details (https://templebyron.com)
There is a small B&B adjacent to the venue, Planula, but the rooms are $200 per night and the reviews have been very poor. We recommend Airbnb. There are often reasonable options in the Sunrise Beach area which is not far from the venue.  Discovery Park on Ewingsdale Road  offers a range of budget accommodation, cabins, vans and camping and is close to the venue.

Travel to Byron Bay

Byron Bay is serviced by two airports, one at Ballina and the other at the Gold Coast. Ballina is closest, being about 35minutes by road to Byron Bay. It is serviced by both Jetstar and Virgin, but the services are not that frequent and it is sometimes more expensive than the Gold Coast. Balllina is closest, being about 35 minutes by road to Byron Bay, but services are less frequent. There is a Jetstar flight back to Sydney on Sunday afternoon at 4.50pm and this is perfect for the 3:20pm close of the workshop. The fares are usually very competitive.

There is a regular shuttle service to Byron Bay from both airports, and in most cases they will deliver you directly to your accommodation. Google Byron Bay shuttles for more details.

Rental car hire is also available at both airports.
